Emilia Clarke has donated to various charities since she became famous. Emilia Isobel Euphemia Rose Clarke is an English actress. She studied at the Drama Centre London, appearing in a number of stage productions. Her television debut was a guest appearance in the BBC One medical soap opera Doctors in 2009. The following year, she was named as one of the ‘UK Stars of Tomorrow’ by Screen International magazine for her role in the TV film Triassic Attack (2010). Clarke had her breakthrough role as Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO epic fantasy television series Game of Thrones (2011–2019). The role won numerous awards, including its international recognition and four Emmy nominations.


British actress Emilia Clarke was born in London and raised in Oxfordshire, England. Her father was a theatrical sound engineer and her mother was a businessman. Her father was working on a stage production of “Show Boat” and her mother took her to the show. His passion for the theater was born at the age of three. From 2000 to 2005, she attended St. Edward’s School in Oxford, where she performed in plays at two schools. She studied acting at the famous Drama Center London, where she participated in 10 plays.
